We offer professional opportunities to suit a range of interests from sophisticated transactional legal work to complex litigation. Outside of the office our attorneys are runners, musicians, pilots, sailors, skiers, cyclists, writers, sculptors, gardeners and enthusiastic parents. At DRM, employees also take advantage of the myriad of non-profit, educational, and municipal volunteer activities to become closely integrated into their communities, and to improve the quality of life in our region.

At DRM, our people are our business. By helping employees deal with day to day challenges and to seize the moment to celebrate life, they are free to focus intently when needed on addressing client needs.

  • We value family.   Eligible parents have the opportunity to enjoy up to six weeks of paid parental leave upon the birth or adoption of a child. For birth mothers, this benefit combined with our short-term disability benefit provides up to 12 weeks of paid leave to enable our employees to care for and bond with a newborn child.
  • Relocating to Vermont or New Hampshire? Our HR team can suggest some real estate brokers you can work with for a smooth transition.
  • Life, medical, dental and disability insurance, as well as wellness benefits and assistance with personal financial planning are part of the package. DRM offers health insurance coverage for eligible employees and family members.

Women talking in office

“What I like most about my practice in Lebanon and St. Johnsbury is that both offices have that small town feel, and I work with a lot of small start-up companies. At the same time, there are national and international businesses in the area, so I have a varied and exciting corporate and commercial practice. AND, I have a safe and nurturing community in which to raise my kids.”Mary Parent, Director, St. Johnsbury VT/Lebanon NH

“I found the best of both worlds – challenging, complex legal work in a region that is regularly recognized as one of the best places to live in the country.”Jennifer McDonald, Director, Burlington VT
