(Burlington) William J. Dodge was recently elected as a director at Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC. Working from the firm’s Burlington office, Dodge is a member of the Business Law, Public Utilities Law and Real Estate and Environmental Law Practice Groups. Since joining the firm in 2000, Dodge has focused in the areas of real estate and land use permitting, with special emphasis on wireless telecommunications-related development, compliance with federal and state water pollution laws and electrical energy projects. Fluent in Spanish and French, Dodge also has a strong interest in international and cross-border issues, including country-of-origin labeling requirements and cross-border financing transactions.

In particular, his work on stormwater issues and in telecommunications has affected positively our clients’ ability to proceed with critical projects,” said John H. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, Dodge serves as secretary of the board of the Vermont Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division, and he recently accepted a position as an associate member of the Vermont Board of Bar Examiners.
