With years of experience interacting with clients and attorneys, April efficiently streamlines the completion of formal documents like declarations, assignments and powers of attorney. She assists attorneys and clients in the application filing process, prosecution phase and maintenance with respect to both patents and trademarks, and she is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the payment of foreign patent annuities with clients, annuity services, and foreign associates.
Additionally, April is a docket manager, overseeing the docketing of all deadlines for both patents and trademarks, including incoming and outgoing correspondence with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and with foreign associates. She prepares monthly docket reports and monitors the status of all pending and issued patents and all pending and registered trademarks. When she’s not assisting attorneys with intellectual property matters, she’s enjoying the woods at her family’s camp in Eden or boating on Lake Champlain.

April is an active member of her church, where she is a catechist, teaching third grade religion for Our Lady of Grace parish in Colchester, Vermont.
