Diligent probate professional, offering compassion and attention to client needs.
With more than 19 years of experience as a probate paralegal, Tracy Bickford has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience administering probate estates in New Hampshire and Vermont. Under the direction of her supervising attorneys and with genuine compassion, Tracy assists her clients with the administration of various tasks they must face when settling their loved one’s affairs. When administering an estate, Tracy devotes her attention to the details of identifying the decedent’s assets, management of the assets while the estate is being probated, arranging for the preparation and filing of the decedent’s final tax return and fiduciary tax returns, and ultimately final distribution of the assets to the estate’s beneficiaries.
Tracy works diligently to timely meet all court and tax deadlines involved with settling estates. Tracy most enjoys her role as a paralegal when working directly with the clients and maintaining the strong working relationships she has established over the years with local accountants, investment advisors, and banks that are also involved when settling a decedent’s estate and administering ongoing trusts. Tracy continues to assist the Estates & Trusts Group with the administration of two long-standing guardianship proceedings (both for over 26 years), one of which is a pro bono case for Downs Rachlin Martin.
