Downs Rachlin Martin Announces Brattleboro Office Move

DRM moves into historic Brooks House

Brattleboro, VT: Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC has moved its Brattleboro, Vermont office to the second floor of the historic Brooks House at 132 Main Street.

“DRM has served area businesses for nearly 30 years and we’re excited to continue that work from the heart of downtown Brattleboro,” said Director Timothy Copeland, Jr. “In 2020, Andrea Wright joined our Brattleboro office, serving clients in labor and employment matters. Elizabeth Wohl returned to DRM earlier this year to focus on health law issues. As we continue to reopen our offices, we look forward to working with them in our new space.”

David Harlow, Director in the firm’s Labor and Employment Law Group, adds “Our new space allows for great collaboration opportunities with our employees and clients. We look forward to hosting an event in the near future to show off the new space.”

The Brooks House has a personal connection to DRM. “The firm’s relocation to the Brooks House is fitting,” said Craig Miskovich, DRM Director and founding member of the Brooks House Development Group. “The space, while in an historic building, is modern and suits our growing practice.”

After a fire destroyed the third and fourth floors of the historic building, Craig Miskovich and four other local investors banded together to raise money to restore and redevelop the property. Today, the Brooks House is home to several businesses and residential apartments.

Copeland adds, “At this time, the firm will see clients in its office by appointment only; however, we look forward to welcoming visitors when it is safe to do so.” Phone numbers and email addresses remain the same.
